2 January 2011 By: Kevin 14 Comments | Editor's Picks, featured

With the opening of many new restaurants in Park City, we have updated our list of the Best Breakfast Restaurants in Park City for 2011! Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day; so important that crappy coffee and cold eggs can put you on the wrong side of the bed no matter what side you really woke up on. That is why you need to have the perfect breakfast spot lined up before you head out for a day on the mountain! Here are our favorite 10 breakfast restaurants in Park City:

1. No Worries Cafe & Grill
No Worries is our top-pick for Park City’s best breakfast spot. This local’s secret boasts some of the best omlets, biscuits and gravy, and eggs benedict in Summit County. They also have a variety of unique breakfast entrees like “Dave’s Skillet” and “Dante’s Inferno”, all of which come with fresh fruit and a smile. This is the place for breakfast in Park City for locals that are “in the know”. No Worries is a little out of the way for most of Park City, but trust me, it is worth the drive. Just take I-80 West to the Summit Park exit, and it is located right next the the Sinclair just off the exit. They are open daily from 7am – 2pm.

2. The Eating Establishment
One of Park City’s oldest restaurants, the “double E” offers everything from healthy granola and fruit to killer Huevos Rancheros. Conveniently located on Main Street, the Eating Establishment is always packed with plenty of locals. The fireplaces keep things cozy in the winter, while the glass atrium room offers a bright and airy atmosphere for summer dining. The Eating Establishment serves breakfast daily from 8am-4pm.

3. The Bridge Cafe & Grill
This popular spot right next to the Town Lift on Main Street is perfect for fueling up before a day on the slopes. The Bridge also serves breakfast all day, which is perfect when you are craving breakfast in the afternoon on a lazy weekend. Check out the Brazilian-style Brazuca Omlet, the Croissant Sandwich, or the Eggs Benedict. They also feature espresso coffee drinks to get you going. The Bridge opens daily at 8am.

4. Park City Bread & Bagel
This locally-owned cafe in Pinebrook features the best bagels in Park City, along with incredible breakfast sandwiches and espresso coffee drinks. Located just off I-80 at the Jeremy Ranch exit, Park City Bread & Bagel is a great place to stop on your way to the ski resorts on the Salt Lake City side of the Wasatch. They also open very early, which is perfect for stopping before work to grab a quick breakfast bagel sandwich. They also have free WiFi and TVs featuring the latest ski, snowboard, and biking films. Park City Bread & Bagel is open daily from 6am-7pm.

5. Yarrow Mountain Grill
Looking for a quick and inexpensive sit-down breakfast? Check out the Mountain Grill inside the Yarrow Hotel on Park Ave. They have a full breakfast menu with all of your favorites, and in the winter they feature a hot skier’s breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. Also, ask about the “local’s breakfast special” for a great deal on a traditional egg breakfast. The Yarrow Mountain Grill opens for breakfast daily at 6:30am.

6. The Corner Store
Known more for their crazy après ski and rowdy outdoor patio, The Corner Store has one of the best breakfast burritos in Park City. They also have build-your-own Omlettes and a kids breakfast menu. Before you hit the slopes, make sure you visit Tone-Def Jeff and crew at the base of PCMR. The Corner Store opens daily at 7am.

7. Wasatch Bagel Cafe
Looking for something with a little more personality than Einstein’s? Check out Wasatch Bagels, located in the Park City Market Shopping Plaza. We highly suggest the Wasatch Huevos breakfast bagel and a cup of Park City Coffee Roaster’s finest. Wasatch Bagel Cafe is open daily at 6:30am.

8. Squatters Roadhouse Grill
When Squatters Roadhouse replaced the beloved Mount Air Café, we were all afraid of losing one of the best breakfast spots in Park City. Well fear no more – Squatters breakfast menu offers all of your favorites, and is one of the best priced in Park City. Squatters serves breakfast daily, starting at 8am.

9. Easy Street
This French restaurant inside the Sky Lodge on Main Street features a daily brunch menu with decadent Bananas Foster French Toast and Polish Crepes with Ricotta Cheese. Easy Street also has a customize your own Bloody Mary Bar, along with excellent desserts. Their summer patio is one of the best places to kick back and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the sunshine.

10. Java Cow
For a quick breakfast on Main Street, Java Cow is the place. Along with incredible coffee drinks, Java Cow has a wide selection of house-made pastries and muffins, baked fresh every morning. They also have excellent breakfast crepes if you are looking for something a little more substantial. Java Cow is open daily at 8am.

Absolutely disagree with 8-10. Looks to me like you ran out of options to make a top 10 list and threw in whatever.

The Main Street Deli, O’Shucks at Quarry Village and Silver Summit Cafe all beat out everyone on your list.
Squatter’s belongs on no one’s top 10 list. The food is nuked, greasy and expensive and the servers could care less that you love your breakfast to taste and look just right.

No Worries is the best breakfast around! Do you know if the Park City Grill is still open in the Prospector Marriott? I think it is. They used to have a pretty killer breakfast bar. It has been years though so don’t quote me on that.

Those all look great. Diets are not good for those top ten. a bar named sue has the best burger in Utah. I need a burger list!

Obviously some of you are crazy and don’t know anything about breakfast. Java Cow has some of the best crepes I’ve ever had. Jill – have you even eaten there for breakfast? Their spinach and egg crepe is truly delicious and their coffee is fantastic. Staff is friendly! Squatters is obviously not the best place in Park City – which is why its on the bottom of the list! Doesn’t seem like rocket science to me. Their breakfast is not expensive ($6.99 for eggs and potatos… more than affordable) and it’s fast and casual. Most people appreciate that. Greasy – obviously – but what fast/casual breakfast place isn’t these days?

Okay – now on to Easy Street. You’ve GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Easy Streets brunch is great! Their crab benedict and bloody mary bar rival most things in Park City. Patio in the summer is unbeatable! I honestly think that Easy Streets breakfast BLOWS AWAY No Worries grill which has spotty service, pricey food, and run by teenagers who serve cold coffee.

Main Street Deli – hilarious mention. Gross!
O-Shucks – would love to know what health inspectors say about that place!

    what about Morning Ray?

No Worries is the best kept secret around. We love to head there every time we are in Park City. And you can buy their great coffee cups from the potter down the street. But we also love EE and Morning Ray. And the Deli is great for quick, inexpensive fare and always has locals there buying food and coffee.

Have to say that Mainstreet Deli is the best kept secret. Squatters is really just not good for breakfast or much else. Alway a bit disapointed when I go there. Wasatch Bagel food is not good enough to overcome the crudy service and attitude, leaving me preferring Einstiens or willing to drive to Park City Bagel in Pinebrook. Otherwise the pickings are a bit slim.

Read from many sites but who serves a good breakfast before 7am? We are coming for a lacrosse tournament and we have to be at the field by 8am early is very important. I don’t want to go all the way to the to Utah for a cold cereal.

Mainstreet Deli is the best kept secret. Bridge is fine, but hours are unpredictable. Been plenty of times when they should have been opened but were not. Wasatch bagels service is terrible. Newly opened is a new Blue Iguana at the top of mainstreet with some pretty nice Mexican breakfast dishes and nice patio dining.

Just had breakfast at EE,the worst HUeveos rancheros of all time. Will try another one of your “top 10″ tomorrow…..second thought I will make my own breakfast

Good Karma Should be in the top 3! The Yarrow? Have you ever had breakfast there?? I am shocked to see them on your top 10 List.

Atticus and Deer Valley Cafe are also missing on your list and great places for a no frills quick, fresh and delicious breakfast

I’ve been a local for 10 years and your list is very disappointing and a poor display of what our town has to offer :-(
