Let’s be honest, there are few things as good as a mouth watering, mind blowing, drool-worthy burger. A good burger is more than mere ground beef and bread, it should be considered a work of art. You need the perfect bun, high quality meat cooked to perfection, a variety of gourmet toppings, and together, you have a masterpiece that you’ll rave about for years to come. And what’s worse than a bad burger? Nothing! So let’s get you started on the right foot! We went through 100+ Park City restaurants .and picked out our favorite places to score a top notch burger.
Rated #1 year after year, No Name Saloon STILL has hands down the best burger in Park City, if not all of the state. No Name is one of the most popular spots in Park City and has the coolest roof-top bar with a truly fab view of Main Street. But this isn’t a list about views, it’s about burgers, so let’s get to it! All burgers at No Name are made with 100% pure buffalo meat and served up on truly delicious and always fresh grilled buns. They offer 4 different buffalo burgers including: the oh so popular Saloon Burger, a Sour Cream & Mushroom Burger, a BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger, and a Zesty Red Bell Burger that comes with habanero aioli (yummo!). If you aren’t into buffalo, they also have a Turkey Burger, Fried Chicken Burger, and the best Veggie Burger I’ve ever had. That’s right, I said it: VEGGIE BURGER. Don’t knock it till ya try it! To note, No Name Saloon is for adults only. So if you can sneak out with the kids, make sure you try it. If you’re stuck with the little ones, let’s move on to our #2 pick.
Legend’s has been on many “best burger” lists and for good reason! Legend’s takes pride in using high quality American Kobe beef patties, applewood smoked bacon, Tillamook cheddar cheese, homemade chipotle aioli, topped with lettuce and tomato, and then perfectly set on a toasted Italian split-top bun. My mouth is watering just thinking about this sucker! Legend’s has plenty to offer the entire family, including a special kids burger, and is the perfect spot to satisfy even the deepest of burger cravings. Make sure to ask for extra bacon, you’ll thank us later! Legend’s is located at the base of PCMR and gets pretty slammed for lunch, so make sure you get there early or plan to stop there for dinner to avoid the crowds.
3. Sushi Blue
Yeah, yeah… we know! How the hell did a sushi place make it on our burger list? You’ll have to go to find out! Sushi Blue, formally known as Hapa Grill, has made it’s way onto so many ”best burger” lists in Utah that sometimes we totally space it’s a sushi restaurant. Sushi Blue is apart of the locally owned Bill White enterprise and is located at Kimball Junction in the Redstone Shopping Center just on the outskirts of Park City. We can’t describe with words the awesomeness that is “The Blue Burger”, so you’ll just have to trust us! Made of grilled organic chuck topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, your choice of cheese and set upon a flour-top roll, this thing will blow your burger lovin’ mind! You can also add apple smoked bacon, seared pork belly, or get it Korean style (a must try!). Sushi Blue also has a kids burger and a home-made black bean burger if you’re with any vegetation folk.
Sammy’s Bistro is a local favorite for a variety of reasons. It’s away from the crowds on Main Street, it’s quick and casual, and it’s serves up one of Park City’s best burgers. Located in the Bonanza Shopping Center near Prospector, Sammy’s is both family friendly and affordable. The burger here is simple and delicious: a BLT Cheeseburger with a half pound ground beef patty, your choice of cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a lightly grilled flour top bun. We recommend trying the burger with their secret cheese sauce and Sriracha-spicy mayo.
J&G Grill, a signature Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant, serves one of the best burgers money can buy, which is what you should expect when visiting one of Park City’s most premier restaurants. They pride themselves on buying only the best and highest quality meats around and their burger is simply a gourmet masterpiece. The J&G Cheeseburger is served with black truffle dressing, the perfect quantity of brie cheese, and hand cut french fries. It’s simple. It’s delectable. It’s a must try when you visit Deer Valley! We recommend pairing it with any of their insanely delicious side dishes. Our favorite is the Beehive Cheddar Mac & Cheese! And don’t forget to get a one of their famous Bloody Mary’s to pair with your burger! You’ll be in for quite the savory treat!
Jupiter Bowl is Park City’s bowling hot spot, and quite possibly, the coolest bowling alley in Utah. That said, the burgers are what keep us coming back over and over again. The Lift Grill at Jupiter Bowl doesn’t just serve your average bowling grub, it boasts a menu full of savory gourmet lunch and dinner options, as well as multiple fabulous burgers. All of their fresh (never frozen) 8oz beef burgers are a special blend of brisket, chuck and sirloin of the highest quality. Our favorite is their Mesa burger with Chile roasted onions, grilled poblano peppers, jack cheese, guacamole, and chipotle mayo. If beef ain’t your thang, they also have a turkey burger, buffalo burger, and of course, a house made veggie burger. Did we mention all burgers are served on a toasted pretzel bun? That’s right! We said it … pretzel buns baby!
We write about High West Distillery quite a bit because quite simply, we adore having a whiskey distillery in town, and a great one at that. But what you probably don’t know is that High West has one of the best burgers in Park City. The High West Signature Burger is a bison-beef blend with aged Gruyere and blue cheese, caramelized onions served on a caraway bun. We challenge you to find better way to end your ski day than cruising down a town-lift run, skiing directly into High West for a shot of whiskey, and then sinking your teeth into the High West Signature Burger. Yeah – it’s that good! Wanna really have your mind blow? Don’t forget to finish your meal with a whiskey and chocolate pairing! *droool*
One of Park City’s more famous restaurants, Zoom is a local favorite and frequently visited by returning out-of-towners. Zoom was opened in 1995 by Robert Redford and is a casually elegant restaurant on Main Street, paying homage to Park City’s pioneering roots. So why does everyone love Zoom so much? Their burger is damn impressive. We don’t know what it is exactly, maybe it’s sheer simplicity, but it always satisfies our craving for what we think is “just a damn good burger”. The Zoom Burger is topped with pickled red onion, lettuce, tomato, and a a pickle. You would think it’s nothing special, but trust us, you’ll love it!
